Tim Hortons (Canada)
Tim Horton’s is one of my favorite things about Canada. There are a couple in the states but not by me. They are kind of like Dunkin’ Donuts (coffee and doughnuts) but they offer a bit more and it tastes much better.

I went in for breakfast and I was going to get a vanilla doughnut but I saw this chocolate danish, something I had never seen before (maybe I’ve been living under a rock and they’re everywhere, but it was new to me). I had to get it. It was super chocolatey with flakey crust, kind of dry but it was about $1.50, no complaints here.
Right now I’m off to Chicago for four days, they just opened up a Sprinkles location there a couple weeks ago and I have been dying to try it, I will make sure to make a big post devoted to them! I have five or six flavors on my list to try.

The chocolate danishes are, in fact, new!
We’ve had the chocolate danishes here in Canada for some time and they are delicious. The cherry cheese danish used to be my favourite, but I see they’ve just “improved” them and they don’t look nearly as good.
Agreed, Lindsay. But whereas we have had the chocolate danish for a while, I see our neighbours are getting (or have had) chocolate banana Timbits – no fair, I say!
I think Tim Hortons was one of our top 5 reasons to emigrate from the UK.
Digging the iced coffees this Summer. I didn’t think an iced capp could be beaten.
Timmies!! It’s so good. I can’t believe you don’t have any near you!! At my school, I walk from the subway/metro to class and I pass 4 Tim Hortons (it’s about a 2 minute walk LOL)
I really enjoy the chocolate danish!
The chocolate is quite dark.
